What a great weekend.
Friday night, the hub and I stayed in and watched some 24 (season 2 dvd) and Stargate SG-1 & Stargate Atlantis. I LOVE those shows. Saturday, we finished 24 season 2 and I was tempted to go out and rent season 3...but I will wait. I don't want to be obsessive or anything!

Sunday was the most fun of the weekend. Started the day by going to church, as usual. It's always a good time. It's the best way to start the week! After church, I hung out with my friend Trish. We did a bit of shopping and then went back to her place to watch New Kids on the Block on VHS!!!! It was a riot. I went from a mature adult to a fanatical little teenybopper. J
rdan is (was) so hot! I still love NKOTB, I ain't gonna lie. It's not like they were completely devoid of talent - they were a worldwide success! Then, for some reason, they just crashed and burned. It's such a tragedy. Anyway, I had a really great time hanging out with Trish! We've been going to the same church for 2.5 years and we just recently started talking (and bonding over a love of NKOTB). I didn't realize how much we had in common and I'm sure we're going to become close friends.

I got to hang out with some of my girls and 2 husbands, 1 fiancee, 1 boyfriend and 1 baby! It was a lot of fun and I hope we can all get together more often. It just seems like everyone's so busy now that we're "adults". Full-time jobs, college, families, appointments take up all our time. I miss the days when everyone could just get together on the weekend and hang out. There's no more spontaneity in life. I'm going to try to change that in my life. I miss waking up in the morning and not knowing what I was going to end up doing...
Tonight, dinner at mom's. Tomorrow night, AI at Jenn's, unless plans change. It's Boston auditions this week! I can't wait...yaaaaay!
Back to the jorb.
