1 is not equal to 1/2!

The freaks come out at night, true. The freaks also come out when you put an ad in the help wanted section for "Light Manufacturing".

At the glorious DeTech, Inc., we are in need of a few new workers to assemble some small parts. We placed the ad in the paper and there has been a non-stop flow of applicants every day. Along with the application, we ask them to complete a small and simple math quiz. A few examples of questions are:

Convert 1/2 to decimal by dividing the top number by the bottom number.

Is .525 greater or less than 1/2?

What is 10f 150?

Now, I know not everyone is great at math, but you have to be an idiot to not get these! I can't tell you how many people say that 1/2 = 1.0. How about .525 is less than 1/2? Did you all know that 10% 150 is 7.50? I'll bet you didn't. Only the smart kiddies know that kind of stuff. A guy who just had a baby spells 8 like this: egit.
