John and I bought this book yesterday, "Don't Know Much About The Bible". I wanted it because honestly, I've never actually read the entire Bible and I thought it might shed a little light on these stories of which I often hear. The book is crap. It is so laced with skepticism and sarcasm that you get the impression the guy is angry about something. It's like the Liberal's handbook to arguing with a Christian. Something I, being a Republican, Far Right, Fanatical, Fundamentalist Christian, would not find of any use. We'll be returning that book to B&N and looking for something better.
Tonight will find us at my mother's house for our weekly dinner there. Even more exciting than the Chicken Cacciatore will be playing Dance Dance Revolution with my mom! My mom has seen the game in arcades and she is all excited to play tonight. John and I recently purchased it for PS2. We first saw it at my sister-in-law's house at Christmas. A bunch of people were playing (even my mother-in-law!!!) and I thought it looked like so much fun, I just had to get it. I'm also becoming quite addicted to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City. I had never considered getting the game because of all the hype about how it's so violent and should be banned. It's no worse than all the war games out there. It's so cartoony that you can hardly call it violent...so whatever.
