Sterdying the Berble und erther miscerllerny

We had some customers here to visit this morning and I am just delighted that I was not invited to join the meeting because it lasted a good 4 hours! I wouldn't have been able to get anything done all morning. Since I was able to skip the meeting, I got to make a considerable dent in the pile of papers in which I'm buried. I'm really good at organizing work that needs to be done but then once it's filed away I end up forgetting about it. It's better for me to have stuff all over my desk and work through it until I can see woodgrain again! I just hung up some red shiny foil Cupid garland in my office. See? Would I have been able to do that if I was in the meeting? No. Anything to offset the horrendous pink walls and rug. YES, I have pukish pink rugs, walls AND matching blinds on the window in my office. I love my office, but I'm not a big fan of the color pink in any shade.
In case anyone is wondering, my friend Jenn and I have this beautiful little feud going with our friend Brandon. It started with us posting his picture in each other's comments because he wouldn't put it on his page. He retaliated by creating photos of me and Jenn as she-devils and Saddam's counsel. I would just like to laud Jenn for her outstanding job on the comeback. It's some fabulous artwork and if you haven't seen it, check out the comments on my page.
John and I are holding our 2nd ever Bible study for young adults (17-27-ish). We had the 1st one last week and it went pretty well. I'm not sure what the topic is going to be tonight, I'm sure John has something in mind. Last week we didn't really have a plan, we decided to just let a topic present itself and I think we ended up wasting a lot of time. I'm hoping that we have a few more people there this week. It was a smallish group last week and although it went well, I think it would be nice to have a bigger crowd. Anyway, if you're a believer, pray it goes well!
I'd like to close with this little piece by my favorite author, Neil Gaiman. Enjoy:
Dark Sonnet
I don't think that I've been in love as such
although I liked a few folk pretty well
Love must be vaster than my smiles or touch
for brave men died and empires rose and fell
for love, girls follow boys to foreign lands
and men have followed women into hell
In plays and poems someone understands
there's something makes us more than blood and bone
And more than biological demands for me love's like the wind unseen, unknown
I see the trees are bending where it's been
I know that it leaves wreckage where it's blown
I really don't know what I love you means
I think it means don't leave me here alone
