And iodine and thorium and thulium and thallium...

What a great Valentine's Day John and I had togther.

I had this little beauty sent to John's office. It came in a small, white, unmarked box. He has yet to bite into it, but his response was "Mmmm...romantic cannibalism!"
John sent me this pretty tower of matching boxes filled with all kinds of great stinky stuff that girls love. Bubble bath, foot scrub, lotion, body wash, etc. AND a box of truffles! Mmmm! What's Valentine's Day without some chocolate, right??
Oh, and then we went to our favorite little eatery in East Brookfield called E.B. Flatts. It's a tiny place with GREAT food. We both had the peppercorn filet medallions in a cabernet sauce. MmmMmMM!
It's a great place -I'd recommend it to anyone. It's friendly and cozy and if you answer the daily trivia question correctly, you get $5 "Flatts Bucks" to use towards your next meal there. There are also Trivial Pursuit cards on each of the tables to keep you entertained.

Back before Christmas, we were looking through a ThinkGeek catalogue and found a shower curtain displaying the Periodic Table of Elements. We loved it so much, we bought it and just made over our bathroom tonight! I totally love it...looks nothing like it did before! Before, I had burgundy & gold fancy frilly stuff in there. I belive now it conveys the appropriate level of geekiness one would hope to find in the place which we live. It's all very "nuclear family", so John thinks.
The clock, which is screaming 1950, came from good old Marshall's.
...and here's the pretty sink . We tried to find stuff that looked as laboratory-y-ish-esque-ian as possible. Me like.
I can't wait to take a shower!

I spent $750 on tickets for shows in Vegas. (2) tickets for "O" at the Bellagio and (3) for Blue Man at the Venetian. Ridic, huh?!?! I am thrilled though...because I've never been to Vegas and I really wanted to see both of those hotels! John and I are heading out of town on the last day of February and won't be back until 3/12. We're road-trippin' it all the way to Vegas and back. I hope to see the Grand Canyon while I'm out there, as well as the Salt Flats up in Utah. John is excited to see the Rockies from the ground and I am SO excited to see them again. It's been 10 years. Wow.
Gorgeous.
