I'm not used to this.

So, a few weeks ago my new assistant started here. I've never really had to "manage" anyone before and I am just not used to it yet. I feel so guilty giving her the work because it's the most boring data entry crap that I just do NOT feel like doing. I am working on jazzing up a presentation right now, which is loads more fun than what she is doing.

Oh well, I guess crap rolls downhill, right? I'm just a little closer to the top of the hill now so I can roll the crap by me right down to the bottom where my assistant dwells. She's a high school girl who works here part-time a few days a week. Anyway, I don't like being in charge of anyone else at work. I like to just do my own thing. I don't think upper management would suit me at all.

Jenn and Jackie will be happy to hear that I am getting my aunt's wedding pictures tonight so I should have them scanned, printed and ready to scrapbook next week! My aunt was married a few years ago and recently, her husband went through heart surgery. They only ever got the proofs from the wedding, not an actual album. So, for Christmas, I am going to make them a wedding album and give them that with a framed 8x10 of the best picture of them. I'm so excited. I had my 13 year old cousin Matt come up with a cover story to get the pictures. He said that he had to write a paper for French class on some event in his life, so he chose his mom's wedding and told her he needed to bring the pictures to school for inspiration. Tonight, John has to stop over my aunt's house after work and order a magazine from Matt for the fundraiser he's doing at school and then go downstairs to my Nana & Papa's apartment and sneak out with the pictures. I love being sneaky. There will be tears on Christmas!

I just want to go home tonight but I have to go to the church for a meeting at 7pm. I'm meeting John there...and we're not going to get home until around 9pm. That means we probably won't get to watch anything we have Tivo'd. We have House, Heroes, Smith and who knows what else to watch! I hate being so busy!!!!
