You wanna swim with the fishes?

On Saturday morning, we got ready and headed to Mystic Aquarium in Mystic, CT. Here, for your viewing pleasure (or displeasure, PAUL), is the photographic evidence.
Here we are in the parking lot outside the aquarium...loves :)
One of the first things we saw was this Beluga Whale. The thing was SO freaking loud! I kept looking up in the canopy saying, "What kind of bird is that?!?!" and John said, "It's not a bird, it's the whale." It was like the loudest screechiest bird you've ever heard.
Next were the Sea Lions. We got to watch the feeding. That Sea Lion has devil eyes!
John just liked the whiskers on this guy (or gal, who knows?)
FACE! R.I.P. Steve Irwin :)
A little sharky...with devil eyes!
The penguins were so boring. They weren't doing anything but sitting there. I guess they're still cute.
So...I think Pirhanas are pretty much evil. They weren't MOVING people. They just sat there...waiting...all of them...like this:
Here are some jellyfish that I just thought were pretty with the blue background.
I know this picture is blurry, but I think it's funny. This fish was just chillin' on the rock. It's flat, and both its eyes were on the same side. Creepy.
A pretty fish:
This thing just seriously creeped me out. The skin on the octopus was just rippling and he was EVIL looking. Now I know why Lovecraft was so inspired by sea creatures.
Probably my favorite thing we saw (and don't ask me what they were doing at the aquarium) were the bats! They were in an Amazon exhibit.

aren't they CUTE?!?!
Lastly, we had some lesbian take our picture just before we left. Who is the weird kid that jumped in the picture?
Later on that day...
I went to Lisa's house and lo and behold, all FIVE of us girls showed up!

Left to right: Tiffany, Lisa, ME, Jackie & Jenny Ciu :)
Yeah, so that was Saturday.
